Meet
Ricky Michlig
In 2026, Ricky appeared in more than 20 vertical productions while continuing to build his credits across independent film and television. Recent work includes the horror short Too Tight to Move, which premiered at Night Frights LA, the dramatic short films Waiting and Ladybug, and appearances in music videos for Clay Aiken and Ken Maffeo. Ricky also flexes his comedic chops alongside the ensemble cast of the upcoming feature AntiSocial Media, with additional credits including Cooking Up a Storm. He has also joined the cast of Casualties of Happiness, a feature film slated to begin production in 2027.
Ricky is the expressive guy you can't help but watch—the socially fluent best friend, the sharp insider, the perceptive co-worker, or the witty, scene-stealing character you’ll remember long after the scene is over.
A Wisconsin native, Ricky discovered his love of entertaining through community theater before studying theater at the University of Arizona, where he ultimately earned a BS in Criminal Justice—the range! After graduation, he spent 15 successful years in the technology industry, working with executives, presenting to large audiences, and navigating high-pressure conversations. Eventually, the pull toward storytelling proved impossible to ignore, and Ricky relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time, bringing with him a unique perspective shaped by years of real-world experience.
